The Punta Mita Invitational is a one of kind, a three-day event. Guests partake in competitive rounds alongside some of the best players in the world at Punta Mita’s two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses, Bahia and Pacifico. The relaxed atmosphere at this event creates an intimate golf experience for our guests - no other event allows this type of access to touring professionals. Our tour pros include former Masters Champions, US Open winners, PGA Tour winners, and current PGA Tour and European Tour players.

Outside of golf, guests will indulge in culinary bliss, meals prepared by highly renowned executive chefs. Every night is a different experience at each of the different Punta Mita Resort properties.

This is not your typical PGA Tour pro/am where it is only one round and a maybe a dinner with your tour pro. PPG events create the right atmosphere to play alongside these tour pros and get to know them in a relaxed setting. How many times can you practice with a major champion or the next big name in golf, all while enjoying a margarita?

Pacifico & Bahia

The Pacifico Course

This Jack Nicklaus-designed golf club is set amid vistas of white-sand beaches and the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains surrounding Riviera Nayarit. Spread over 81 hectares (200 acres), the course takes full advantage of its seaside location. Eight holes border either the Pacific Ocean or Banderas Bay and offer views of whales during their seasonal migration.

Dubbed the “Tail of the Whale” Pacifico’s optional, par-three 19th hole measuring 194 yards, features the only natural island green in the world – an unforgettable hole to play! The course itself plays between 5,037 and 7,014 yards. The Punta Mita peninsula’s tropical landscape of palms and flowering trees adds to the pleasure of playing this golf course, which is at once challenging for experienced golfers and friendly for beginners.

The Bahia Course

The newest addition to Punta Mita’s golfing achievement, this second Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course opened in late 2008 and is as stunning as its sister course. Featuring six ocean holes and playing between 5,180 and 7,030 yards, this championship course rolls through the property of the St. Regis Resort, and among the communities of El Encanto, Porta Fortuna, and La Punta Estates. The challenging and undulating fairway and green complexes offer a wonderful counterpart to The Pacifico Course for golf aficionados.
